Eastern Fighting Style - a full contact fighting style usually incorporating headshots, appropiate armour is normally worn including full face helmets.

Hema - a fighting style with the use of headshots, incorporating appropiate safety armour including headmasks.

Huscarl - houseguard, part of a Jarls elite guard.

Langseax - a longer knife, single edged with a blade length of 16-20inch, single edged and used as a sword.

Niddy Noddy - is a tool used to make skeins from yarn. It consists of a central bar, with crossbars at each end, offset from each other by 90°. The central bar is generally carved to make it easier to hold.

Seax - a short knife normally 9-12inch blade length, single edged and used by Viking and Anglo Saxons, and other similiar ethnic groups.

Skein - a length of thread or yarn, loosely coiled and knotted.

Thrall - described as a slave within Viking society, they were often captured during raids or sold, often required for working around Farmsteads. They also had occassionally the option to become free if they worked hard or did something of note.

Western Fighting Style - the use of fast weapon moves with soft contact, usually shots are to the body, upper arms and upper legs and no head shots.
